Weekly flowers, how does it work?
Subscribe to our weekly or fortnightly flower service to receive a periodical bouquet. Choose to receive a “bouquet only” if you like to to prepare, cut and arrange the bouquet in a suitable vase yourself. Or, even more convenient; choose for the bouquet to arrive in one of our vases. So you don’t have to clean and prepare anything. We cut and treat the flowers and arrange them in a vase for you, making sure the bouquet fits the vase and that the flowers last as long as possible. You just have to sit back, relax and enjoy the flowers.
What happens if I am not at home during delivery?
No problem. We just deliver the flowers at your neighbor’s and leave a note in your mailbox where to pick them up. If all your neighbors are out and it is impossible to deliver the flowers safely and conveniently we will just take it back to our shop and leave you a note asking to call us for a new delivery appointment.
How does payment for weekly flowers work?
When you subscribe to our weekly flower service you essentially buy, in advance, a number of bouquets for a period of four weeks. So you pay the full amount for that period in advance. If, at the end of that period, you decide to extend your subscription to weekly or fortnightly flowers you pay in advance again for the next four weeks.
Can I pay by automatic transfer?
Yes you can. This happens a lot in The Netherlands. We did not make this our standard payment option though, to give our customers more lea-weigh in deciding to go ahead with the flower subscription service or not. We do not want our customers to feel “trapped”. But if you had rather have an automatic transfer installed let us know and we will take care of it. Just send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What happens if I am going on a trip. or a vacation?
If you are leaving town for a while, let us know and we will pauze your subscription. Just send us an email or go to your personal account on our website to pauze your flower subscription. Please make sure to specify the exact date you would like to stop and the date to continue your subscription again.
Can I choose the flowers i want?
With our weekly or fortnightly flower subscription you can tell us your preferences; which flowers you like and which flowers you dislike, but you can not choose each specific flower you want individually. Not like you would do in our shop. (Unless you are picking up your flowers) However, you can tell us your preferences by filling in the “order notes” field during checkout in the webshop.
Can I also order a one-off bouquet?
Absolutely. Regardless of whether you have a weekly flower subscription or not, you can always order one-off bouquets in our webshop. (Tip: If you create a personal account you don’t have to fill in order details every time)
What should I do with the vase if I am not at home during delivery?
If you have one of our vases, and you are not at home during the delivery of your weekly flowers, just keep the vase for us until the next delivery. But please remember to give us the vase the next time because we would have to charge you for it.
Can I change the delivery address (temporarily)?
Certainly. If the address is within our delivery region (Amsterdam, Diemen Oudekerk aan de Amstel, Durgerdam, Ransdorp, Zunderdorp or Amstelveen) we can ship the flowers to that address. Just send us an email or take care of it yourself on your personal account in our webshop.
I would like to pauze my subscription, can I?
Yes you can. Just send us an email at least two days prior to the date you would like to stop delivery, or go to your personal account on our website. Please make sure to specify the exact date you would like to stop and the date to continue your subscription again.
Were does URBANBLOOM deliver to?
Can I subscribe to more than one bouquet?
Absolutely. You can subscribe to as many bouquets as you want. Plus you can also order one-off bouquets in combination with your subscription. (Tip: If you create a personal account you don’t have to fill in order details every time)
How long will my flowers last?
In principle flowers should last a week. Our flowers are super fresh and of premium quality and should last a week. But the life span of flowers depends also on how they are treated on (and after) delivery. Check out our flower care tips to make your flowers last longer.
I received flowers that are closed. Is this alright?
Yes, this is perfectly alright. It means that the flowers are as fresh as they can be. Fresh flowers are still in bud. Fresh flowers will last a lot longer and this way you are previous to the delight of seeing them open under your eyes. Each day a hidden treasure will be revealed. Just wait and see! It is a miracle!
Is there a notice period on my subscription?
No, there is no notice period. You pay for the subscription four weeks in advance. After four weeks you will receive an email from us asking if you would like to extend your subscription. The link in the email will lead you to our webshop where you can extend for another four weeks. If you do nothing, nothing happens: your subscription will end.
If you have asked us to install an automatic transfer, please send us an email as soon as you can. Your subscription will run until the end of the period you last paid for. (So four weeks maximum) After that it stops.
